The Model I Flange with Teflon® insert mounts on standard
ANSI B16.5 (2" thru 8") flange connections. It is
designed to be used when the wetted part (insert) needs
to be made of Teflon®. The Model I Flange uses a
threaded cap that allows you to change outspare parts
without disturbing the Teflon® insert bolted between
flanges. This unit is rated for temperatures up to 450°F,
and uses Teflon® packing and gaskets. Applications
requiring DIN standards or non-ANSI flanges are available
upon request and no mating gasket required. |
